Aspire Zelos X80 Box Mod 80W 1x18650

The Aspire Zelos X80 is a compact 80W box mod for users who prefer a replaceable battery and a broad range of adjustable settings. Unlike devices with an integrated battery, the Zelos X80 operates with a single removable 18650 battery, allowing a discharged cell to be exchanged when required.

Output power can be adjusted from 5 to 80W. This allows the mod to be paired with a wide selection of atomizers, ranging from lower-power MTL tanks to more powerful RDL and DTL setups, provided the requirements of the installed coil remain within the limits of both the device and battery.

The device is controlled by the Aspire ASP chipset and provides five output modes: WATT, VOLTAGE, BYPASS, TC and CPS. This provides both straightforward wattage control and additional adjustment options for more experienced users.

In WATT mode, output power is selected directly in watts. This is the most straightforward mode for many commercially available replacement-coil atomizers. The recommended power range marked on the installed coil should always be observed.

VOLTAGE mode allows the output voltage to be selected manually. The Zelos X80 supports an output voltage range of 0.5 to 8.4V.

BYPASS mode delivers output more directly according to the available battery voltage while retaining the electronic protection functions of the device. Appropriate operation still depends on the installed coil and battery.

A TC temperature-control mode is available for compatible heating materials. This mode should only be used with coils or rebuildable wires designed for temperature-controlled operation.

CPS – Custom Power Settings allows the power curve during a puff to be customised. This makes it possible to use different output levels at different stages of the draw.

Operating information is displayed on a 0.96-inch TFT colour screen. Aspire provides multiple brightness settings to adapt screen visibility to different environments. Two LED elements are also integrated into the body and offer selectable lighting effects.

A dedicated lock function allows the controls to be secured against unintended operation. The mod should be locked or switched off appropriately before transport or storage.

The Zelos X80 measures 84 x 36.5 x 26mm and weighs approximately 108.5g without a battery. Its body combines zinc alloy and aluminium, providing a compact metal construction with a comfortable everyday form factor.

Atomizers up to approximately 25mm in diameter are particularly well suited to the top platform without significant overhang. This makes the Zelos X80 suitable for compact MTL and RDL tanks as well as various sub-ohm atomizers operating within the available power range.

Power is supplied by one replaceable 18650 battery. The battery is not included and must be purchased separately. Only a suitable, undamaged high-drain battery with an appropriate current rating for the intended output should be used.

Do not use 18650 batteries with damaged insulation or battery wraps. Always observe correct polarity when inserting the battery. Loose cells should never be carried together with keys, coins or other conductive objects.

An installed battery can be charged through the USB-C port at up to 2A. A suitable external charger can alternatively be used for regular charging of replaceable cells.

The ASP chipset incorporates several electronic protection functions, including a firing time limit, short-circuit and open-circuit protection, low-voltage protection, overcharge protection, overheating protection and abnormal charging protection. These functions do not replace correct handling of lithium-ion batteries.

The Aspire Zelos X80 Box Mod is therefore well suited to users looking for a compact mod with a replaceable 18650 battery, up to 80W of adjustable output and multiple operating modes. The combination of simple wattage adjustment and advanced modes makes it suitable for both straightforward everyday setups and more individually configured vaping.
