E-liquid aromas are highly concentrated flavourings used for creating customised e-liquids. They do not contain nicotine or a ready-made base and must always be mixed with a suitable e-liquid base.
There are both single flavour concentrates and pre-balanced aroma blends, available in various bottle sizes, most commonly 10 ml or 30 ml. These aromas can be dosed according to personal preference and mixed with base and optional nicotine shots. Manufacturers usually provide recommended mixing ratios as guidance.
Aromas are mainly used for traditional DIY mixing. Depending on the recipe, a steeping period may be required after mixing for the flavour to fully develop.
Difference between aroma, longfill and shortfill:
Unlike classic aromas, longfill aromas contain a pre-measured amount of flavour concentrate in a larger bottle that only needs to be filled with base and optional nicotine. Shortfill e-liquids are already fully mixed with base and flavour and only leave space for adding nicotine shots, making them particularly easy to use and ready shortly after preparation.
Aromas are intended for users who prefer full control over their e-liquid composition and flavour intensity. This category includes aroma concentrates only and no ready-to-use e-liquids.
